Fusion Crew Registration

Summer is coming and with it the Fusion is closing in and so does one of our biggest cooking actions. Thank you so much, for supporting us and realizing this with us together!

As a Crewmember of the Black Kitchen you should:

  • be at least 7 days on site
  • arrive one day before your 1st shift
  • do 5 shifts á 7 hours

In return you'll get:

  • freien Festivalzugang
  • backstageentrance
  • Drinks at reduced prices
  • full board at our Crew-Kitchen
  • Fahrtkostenerstattung (bitte ressourcenbedacht und kostengünstig planen)

The donation we receive from the KuKo, covers the yearly costs of Black Kitchen and allows us to purchase equipment. Also, one part is used to support other organisations. Last year a part of the donation went to Refugee for Refugee.

If you don't want to or can't do this workload for all sorts of reasons, we can get you a Supporti ticket. You could either set up/cook with us 4 shifts before the festival or you are quite normal at Supporter Care, but work all shifts with us. Falls du wegen finanziellen Gründen kürzer oder gar nicht mitkommen willst, sag bitte ebenfalls bescheid und wir finden eine Lösung.


Construction phase:
Sunday,18.06. (arrival) until 23.06. | getting our kitchen ready during the day and drink "Schlacke" at the Späti in the evening ;-D

Cooking phase:
Saturday, 24.06. bis 03.07., as well as breakfast on the 04.07.
Best would be arrival on the 23.06. before 5 pm. This way we have enough time to introduce you to the kitchen and other important things on site.

04. & 05. 07. | many hands, quick end(s)! Stay with us a few more days and enjoy the calmness on the festival-area.

Cooking crews & shifts

This year there will be four crews/ shifts :

Responsible for the breakfast buffet
preparation of bread spreads & Co.
Responsible for a hot + cold lunch buffet
Responsible for warm + cold evening buffet,
set up small night buffet with leftovers
Orders, warehouse, infrastructure, hygiene, troubleshooter

The various crews should then organize themselves within the group:
What do we cook? Who takes the hat? Who works when?
We will support you with fillable tables and communication channels
For shift planning, we will send out a link to a tool in May in which you can then also set the times for your dishes and take over shifts with your references.

    ¹Car ticket: With the car ticket, you can drive across the festival site with your mobile subway and park it in Backstage 2. But if you don't have to go, it's definitely good outside in the parking lot.

    ²Best Friend Ticket: One person from you gets a regular paid Fusion Ticket. However, we only have a limited contingent available. If possible, please use the Supporti tickets option.
